20 Years of Patriotism and
Community Support  

Dear Community Member,

The Rotary Club of Craig is offering you the opportunity to help show your community support for Craig and the USA. This year will be the 20th year of our American flag project. We are asking businesses and community members to sponsor flags, and the Rotary Club will display them throughout town on the following holidays:

  • Memorial Day (Monday May 25th)
  • Flag Day & Juneteenth (Friday June 19th)
  • July 4th (Saturday July 4th)
  • Colorado Day (Saturday August 1st)
  • Patriot Day (Friday September 11th)
  • Columbus/Indigenous People Day (Monday October 12th)
  • Veteran’s Day (Wednesday Nov 11th)

On Yampa Avenue, the flags are placed on the light poles on both sides of the street from 4th St. to 6th St. We will leave these flags up from May 30th – November 11th and replace them as needed. On Victory Way, the flags will be placed on both sides of the street starting at Lincoln St. and heading West every 100 feet to Finley Lane. Flags may be placed on a smaller section of Victory Way due to inclement weather or as asked for some extra events throughout the year. Flags are not placed for winter holidays due to safety concerns.  

It is really nice to drive through town with Old Glory lining the way. What a great way to impress visitors driving through the area, perhaps making them want to stop and explore, or return another time. The price to purchase a flag sponsorship and take part in this wonderful program is $85 per flag, per year. You may purchase as many flags as you wish. Please help us to spread our pride all through Craig.

  • By check: Fill out the online form, then print and send checks to PO Box 1400, Craig CO 81626. (Checks should be made payable to Craig Rotary Club.)

  • 1-Star Sponsor - $85
  • 2-Star Sponsor - $170
  • 3-Star Sponsor - $255
  • 4-Star Sponsor - $340
  • 5-Star Sponsor - $425
  • Stars & Stripes Sponsor - 6 to 9 flags @ $85 per flag
  • Justice Sponsor - 10 to 15 flags @ $85 per flag
  • Liberty Sponsor - 16 of more flags @ $85 per flag
